Printing materials plucked from aid parcels for Poles

February 25, 1982

Polish customs have confiscated 16,500 sheets of printing paper and 21 cans of printing ink concealed in aid parcels of food and clothing sent by two Swedish companies, the official PAP news agency reported. ''Paper and printing ink destined for the production of illegal publications are being smuggled into Poland in some transports of food and clothes sent from Western countries as gifts for the Polish people,'' the report said.
