US delegation en route to Hanoi for MIA talks

US Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary Richard Armitage arrived here Sunday on his way to Hanoi in a fresh bid to find the whereabouts of 2,500 American servicemen missing in action during the war in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese government claims that all American soldiers, airmen, and sailors have been accounted for, but they finally agreed in January to reopen talks with a high-level team of Pentagon and State Department officials.
