Let us wage love

February 18, 1982

Let us wage peace -- wielding love like a sword cutting down hatred splitting our differences. Is it harder/easier to kill/die in a sweating green jungle on bleached gold desert sands among cold killer mountains or on the streets of Atlanta Chicago San Francisco New York Newark Belfast Rome Beirut San Salvador? Wars/murders/terrors. Let us wage love against them all -- vowing not to cease until our sword becomes a plowshare tilling all hearts for a harvest of peace.
