The Way It is Now

I am eleven. Eleven has its good points and its bad points.

Eleven is a very responsible age. You are almost in your teens and you can start to look for small jobs like mowing lawns, baby-sitting, garden-tending, etc.

But your parents start ''expecting more'' from you.

School gets harder and more of it starts coming. But I still like being eleven.

When you're eleven, you are getting lots of presents and are still going trick-or-treating and doing things like that. You can think about where, what, and how you will live when you grow up, without having to make the decision about these things right then and there.
