First US 'test tube' baby born at Norfolk, Va.

The first ''test tube'' baby in the US was born here Monday to a Massachusetts school teacher who gave birth to a 5-pound, 12-ounce baby girl. The world's first ''test tube'' baby, Louise Brown, was born in England in 1978. But Monday's birth marked the first conceived at a US clinic and born to American parents.
