Tehran says Iraqi planes attacked residential areas

Tehran Radio reports that two Iraqi fighter-bombers struck Wednesday at residential areas of a southern Iranian town, killing eight people. The report follows earlier Iranian claims that its troops have recaptured vast areas of the southern province of Khuzestan, occupied by Iraqi troops. Iran claims to have killed 1,000 Irazi troops amd captured 1,300.
