Isotropic universe

November 6, 1981

Someone discovered (and I don't know just who) that if our universe of glimmering galaxies (and of black holes!) is infinite it must also be isotropic. The equalities of isotropy the definitions of infinity all indicate that every speck of cosmic dust every pinpoint of starflame every consciousness (yours or mine) of any of these things - each is the centerpoint in a universe which has no edges. Each/all have the same humble glory!
