Hussein ends US visit by meeting legislators

November 5, 1981

Jordan's King Hussein wrapped up his US visit by discussing Middle East problems with his ''dear friends'' in Congress. The King began the final day of his Washington trip at a breakfast with House leaders and members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

King Hussein, wise in the ways of Washington, has met presidents dating back to Dwight Eisenhower and is well aware of the role Congress plays in deciding foreign policy.
