Dock accord may restart Canadian grain shipments

Union leaders and grain companies reached a tentative agreement Sunday, which is expected to end a strike by 1,600 grain handlers that has halted grain exports for the past 11 days from Thunder Bay, Canada's largest grain port. Union negotiators were recommending acceptance of the agreement to workers who will vote on it in the next few days, union officials said, indicating the strike may end by later this week.
