Exhumation is ordered in case involving Hugel

A state judge ordered the immediate exhumation of the body of Dennis McNell, whose missing brothers made allegations prompting the resignation of Max Hugel as deputy director of central intelligence. Mr. McNell died mysteriously one week after his older brothers, Samuel and Thomas, told the Washington Post that Mr. Hugel had engaged in stock manipulation in the 1970s. Hugel, a New Hampshire businessman, denied the charges but resigned from the post.

Maine authorities requested the exhumation and an autopsy, saying the case was connected to a criminal investigation under way in New York.
