Odor-resistant carpets

The first carpets featuring permanent protection against most forms of household odors will be introduced at summer markets by several major carpet manufacturers.

These carpets are treated with Scotchgard protector to provide resistance to soil, spills, and static build-up. These benefits, especially the permanent odor-free process, are especially important in dining rooms, bathrooms, children's rooms, and in homes with pets.
