Multinational bankers OK on new Polish debt timing

A multinational banking group announced it reached agreement on rescheduling Poland's 1981 debt to Western banks and will submit its proposals to a Polish delegation here. A communique issued by the bankers representing 21 banks in 12 countries said unanimous agreement was reached on all issues still outstanding. But, it gave no details of how the debt owed to 460 creditor banks would be restructured to allow Pol and a longer repayment time.
