Japan's top 2 carmakers report a drop in exports

Japan's two biggest carmakers reported drops in their June exports following export restraint agreements between Japan and the United States, Canada, and several West European countries. Toyota said it exported 137,456 vehicles in June, down 12.3 percent from May's shipments. Nissan, maker of Datsun cars and trucks, said it exported 122,858 vehicles, dow n 6 percent from May.
