Ford Motor Company rejected a Toyota Motor Company proposal to jointly produce vans in the US, prompting the Japanese automaker to suspend talks on a tie-up agreement. Toyota's president did not comment on a threat by Arab countries to boycott Toyota if the carmaker goes ahead with the tie-up a greement with Ford which operates in Israel.
