The accused killer of John Lennon, Mark David Chapman, goes on trial for murder, amid speculation that he wants to change his plea from not guilty by reason of insanity to guilty. But his lawyer has insisted that the plea will remain not guilty by reason of insanity. If the trial goes ahead, court sources estimate, jury selection will take two weeks and the trial between five and seven weeks.
