9 Hurt as bomb explodes at Giscard stop in Corsica

A terrorist bomb exploded at the crowded Ajaccio airport Thursday minutes after President Valery Giscard d'Estaing landed to campaign for his reelection, police announced. Nine persons in the crowd that came to greet him were injured by the explosion of the bomb, which had been concealed in an airfield locker, police said. The President and members of hi s party were not hurt.
