Zimbabwe to require visas of South Africans

South African passport holders will need visas to visit Zimbabwe after June 1 , Home Affairs Minister Richard Hove announced. The minister said the move was in response to Pretoria's announcement this week that Zimbabweans would need visas to enter South Africa beginning the same date. The visa requirements follow South Africa's termination of preferential terms with Zimbabwe and seem to be part of a dismantling of the special relationship between the former Rhodesia and S outh Africa.
