Monitor science editor honored for planet series

Robert C. Cowen, natural science editor of The Christian Science Monitor, has been selected for honor by the Aviation/Space Writers Association for "outstanding contribution to journalistic excellence." The honor was conferred on the basis of a three-part series by Mr. Cowen, "What we are learning from the planets," which appeared Dec. 29-31, 1980. Presen tation will be made in New York on April 10.
