Jordan reciprocates, cutting Iranian ties

Jordan has severed diplomatic relations with Iran in response to Iran's recent rupture of ties with Jordan, Foreign Ministry officials said Thursday. The measure was taken by Jordan Feb. 1, immediately after Iran announced it had broken its ties with the Amman government because of its support fo r Iraq, the officials added.
