Britain has its first "knight of the box," reports correspondent Alexander MacLeod. Robin Day, for over 25 years the most consistently excellent interviewer on British television, is to be Sir Robin. He received his knighthood in the Queen's new year honors list. Day, with his horn-rimmed spectacles and polka-dot bow tie, has been the scourge of politicians and public figures for a generation. Almost always well informed and determined to squeeze honest answers from the most reluctant subjects, he has created inverviewing standards by which his colleagues are measured.
