Supplies of turkey this Thanksgiving will be adequate, while other poultry and pork will be plentiful, the Agriculture Department says. Consumers should also find plentiful stocks of fresh oranges and grapefruits, apples, dried prunes, raisins, nuts, rice, dry beans, and split peas. Supplies of potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and other vegetables will be adequate. plentiful is defined as "more than enough to meet requirements." Adequate is "enough to meet normal needs."
