Presidential ballot to have Libertarian in all 50 states

September 26, 1980

Ed Clark, presidential nominee of the tiny Libertarian Party, will appear on the ballot in all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, with New Hampshire completing the list. The party, with its roots in southern California, seeks among other things to reduce federal government functions to a minimum, end overseas military alliances, abolish taxation, and expand civil liberties to the maximum possible.
