September 26, 1980

An opposition parliamentary and 11 others involved in an antigovernment rally in the city of Cebu have been rearrested, a local radio station reported. Assemblyman Valentino Legaspi and the others were temporarily released from military detention Tuesday night after being charged with illegal assembly. But they were rounded up by the military early Thursday under arrest and serach-and-seizure orders normally approved by President Marcos.
