ARabs drop move to bar Israel at UNESCO session

Arab delegates have shelved demands to bar Israel from the 21st general conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. They joined 2,400 delegates from most of UNESCO's 152 member states in a compromise statement saying that Israel's admission does not mean recognition of its annexation of the Arab section of Jerusalem.
