Those Lips Those Eyes is a sadly stale movie, feebly updated with a little sex and a few four-letter words. Frank Langella plays a second-rate operetta star, doing summer stock back in 1951. He struts, sings, and frets about the availability of good parts, while his young protege pursues a pretty chorus girl. Under the unimaginative direction of Edward Pressman, the tale drags out long enough to incorporate every imaginable cliche. Langella needed a change of pace after "Dracula," but this listless rehash could drive anybody back to Transylvania.
