British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher visits France this week to try to patch up deteriorating Anglo-French relations. The two countries have had heated arguments about Britain's payments to the European Community and about British exports of lamb, on which France has imposed a tariff. Mrs. Thatcher is also expected to discuss the issue of a common fisheries policy during talks with French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing.
