The Mouse and the Cheese

September 14, 1980

This little creature has got a new feature: His stomach sticks out past his toes. He spotted some cheese, which made him sneeze: How he got to it nobody knows. This little gray fellow is now feeling mellow after his big dinner feast. He looked with huge eyes at the scale, with surprise; He now weighed 16 pounds, at least. Poor little mouse is upset, and he knows he'll regret the cheese that he ate from the deli. But. . . He ate with such vigor, and his eyes were much bigger than his overstuffed, overpuffed belly.
