Afghanistan rejects call for pullout by Soviets

Afghanistan has rejected a call by six Western countries and Japan for the withdrawal of Soviet troops and restroration of Afghanistan's character as a nonaligned country, the Press Trust of India news agency reported Tuesday. The agency, in a dispatch from Kabul, the Afghan capital, said an official statement circulated by the government-controlled Bakhtar News Agency said only Afghans could decide how to regulate their country.
