2 more congressmen indicted in Abscam

A federal grand jury Wednesday indicted two House committee chairmen, John M. Murphy (D) of New York and Frank Thompson (D) of New Jersey, on bribery charges in the "Abscam" investigation. In the unprecedented investigation, FBI agents posed as Arab sheikhs and their associates willing to pay bribes for political favors.
