Snow on the roof

To the real estate editor: Jacqueline B. May of Alderson, W. Va., requested information on either heat tapes or metal spikes to prevent snow damage on a metal roof.
There is a new and low-cost answer on the market called Snojax, an innovation on her "spikes" that are designed to eliminate the possibility of movement of snow and ice on a roof.
