Correction

"America's stake in Soviet oil" on this page (May 16) contained a typographical error changing the figure 150,000 to 250,000. The sentence should have read: "The Russians have launched a crash program to build housing for an additional 150,000 oil workers within three years in Siberia's petroleum-rich Tyumen Province."
