About those spelling errors

No, we haven't thrown away our Webster's Dictionary. But by our count, there were nearly three dozen spelling errors in a housing story that ran in this space in yesterday's editions. The story was error-free when it left the Monitor newsroom. But our technical experts tell us the mistakes were somehow produced by the Monitor's new, automated typesetting equipment. The Editors apologize for the poor performance, both to our readers, and to Mr. Webster.
