Hostages' families to formalize support group

April 14, 1980

Families of American hostages held in Iran plan to turn their informal group -- Families Liaison Action Group -- into an official corporation this week. FLAG, formed to support the release of the hostages and to help them adjust upon return to the US, has no "political goals" and is being incorporated, in part, to accept funds offered by private citizens, said FLAG member Louisa Kennedy of Washington, whose husband, Moorhead C. Kennedy Jr., has been held hostage since Nov. 4.
