India's censors permit a discreet kiss on screen

The Indian Information and Broadcasting Ministry has ruled that kissing scenes may be allowed in Indian movies for the first time, according to press reports Tuesday. Vasant Sathe, the film censor, said he was against a move to ease the ban on spicier stuff.
