Giving and blessing

Reciprocity in friendship. How much it is needed, how seldom it is found. the Givers give and the Takers take. Only occasionally is there that happy state of balance where, on both sides, the process of giving and taking attains a oneness and is transcended. Isn't this a goal to aim for in friendship? How perfect it is when, for each of us, what is received is given, and what is given is received, so that the very act of giving itself becomes a blessing, and the act of receiving becomes a gift? Surely, this is attainable.
