WikiLeaks reveals 5 Arab countries concerned about Iran

At least five Arab countries are keeping a wary eye on Iran, as revealed in the classified US documents publicized by whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

Qatar’s comments on Iran were less direct than those from Saudi Arabia or Bahrain. However, serious distrust of Iran was evident in the cables released by WikiLeaks: A US diplomat quotes the Qatar prime minister, Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Muhammad Al Thani, saying “we lie to them, and they lie to us.” Though Qatar has a 90 percent Shiite majority, a Sunni monarchy rules the nation.
