That, at least, is the conclusion of Budget Travel magazine, which ranks it No. 1 in its first list of the Top 10 American luxury hotels. Winners were determined by using the Popularity Index kept by TripAdvisor, an online travel site that compiles data about overall traveler satisfaction. Among the amenities the Renaissance offers: complimentary shoeshines, newspaper delivery, overnight delivery/pickup of business materials, and evening turndown service. The 10 best values in American luxury hotels, according to Budget Travel Magazine, with their locations and room rates.
