A stepping place for plants

It’s hard to group a number of small flowerpots – all containing different plants – in an arrangement that’s attractive. One solution is to set up an old wooden stepladder on a porch and place the pots on the steps and the top. Or, to really pack in the pots on your new plant stand, cut pieces of wood (two-by-fours work well, but you can recycle whatever you have on hand) and create shelves that run from the back braces to the front steps. That triples the amount of space.
