Seven worst Christmas toys for kids

1. Moxie Teenz (MT) Dolls

Arizona, a Moxie Teenz doll, pairs white fish-net leggings with black ankle boots. Is the 'Pretty Woman' look really the way for girls to 'find' themselves?

The Moxie Teenz (MT) dolls win this year's skankiest toy award. Arizona, featured in the picture, pairs white fish-net leggings with black ankle boots. Nothing like taking the high-class streetwalker look and making it fashionable for the six-and-up crowd, which is the manufacturer’s recommended age. Every year, it seems, there's a reincarnation of the “Pretty Woman” doll.

What sends these $26.99 dolls rocketing to the top of my worst toy list, however, is MT’s motto: "Be true! Be you!"

Really? Wearing trashy clothes, heavy makeup, and frequently changing hair color (something they can do if you purchase the wig accessories) will allow girls to find their true selves?

MT’s motto is, at best, "Emp-Ty." Our children deserve better.
