Actor Tom Hanks is continuing his foray into fiction.
“The stories are not about the typewriters themselves, but rather the stories are something that might have been written on one of them,” Hanks said in the statement.
The actor recently published a short story – his fiction debut, according to The New York Times – titled “Alan Bean Plus Four.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, a release date for the untitled short story collection was not announced.
He recently starred as Walt Disney in the 2013 movie “Saving Mr. Banks” and will be reprising his role of Robert Langdon in the adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel “The Lost Symbol” as well as starring in the film adaptation of Dave Eggers’ novel “A Hologram for the King.”
