Reader recommendation: Learning to Eat Soup with a Knife

Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.

Learning to Eat Soup with a Knife by John Nagl is not only a great insight in to the Malaysian and Vietnam counterinsurgencies and the organizational thinking that led to the respective successes and failures of those campaigns, but it can also be used a primar for organizational culture in business as well. I would rank it as the best "business" book since "Good to Great" by Jim Collins.
