I picked up Rapt: Attention and the Focused Life by Winifred Gallagher because I read this phrase in it:  "She [the author] will focus on 'what is productive, meaningful, and energizing.' "  What we pay attention to impacts our lives in a profound way.  It speaks to me because I tend to focus on the negative which is not helpful and does not make me feel better!
