10 best books of August 2017, according to Amazon's editors

As you head outside to soak up the last of summer's rays, you'll need a trusty book by your side. Whether you're a fiction fan or drawn to true stories, this list of what Amazon editors say are the best books to come out this month – with thoughts from Amazon senior editor Chris Schluep – will have something for you.

1. 'The Heart's Invisible Furies,' by John Boyne

"The Boy In the Striped Pajamas" writer Boyne's new novel centers on Cyril Avery, an Irish boy who was adopted at a young age. Cyril attempts to discover his true identity.
