3. Renu Khator

President and chancellor of the University of Houston in Houston

Ms. Khator, who took office in 2008, is the first Indian immigrant to lead a comprehensive research university in the United States. She is a noted scholar in the field of global environmental policy. Here are some books she's been reading recently:
