is Director of Technology for Northrop Grumman’s Cyber Division. Vern is responsible for identifying emerging cyber technologies, while defining and executing the division’s technical strategy. This includes driving division investment plans and increasing customer-funded contract research and development. Areas of emphasis include cybersecurity, signals intelligence, information operations, and resilient networks and platforms. He also develops technologies that support mission area strategies in the defense, intelligence, and civil arenas. Vern also leads the Advanced Cyber Technology Center, a world class team responsible for understanding emerging hard problems that require complex solutions and working to solve those problems in advance.
Vern has more than 25 years of experience defining, developing and deploying advanced cyber, SIGINT, intelligence and full spectrum solutions for Department of Defense, the Intelligence community, Federal/Civil and global customers.
