Mobile Bookmark

While you can always read the Monitor Daily from your email, some Monitor readers benefit from bookmarking the Daily on their phone's home screen. Bookmarking the web page on your home screen allows one-tap access to the most recent issue of the Daily.

iPhone: When you're at csmonitor.com/daily in the Safari browser, click the "share" button at the bottom center of the screen, then "Add to Home Screen."

Android: When you're at csmonitor.com/daily in the Safari browser, click the "share" button at the bottom center of the screen, then "Add to Home Screen."

iPhone instructions

  1. Tap to open Safari (icon at bottom of screen)(Monitor Daily subscribers may need to log in, first, to avoid the paywall. Enter your email address just as you would on a desktop.)
  2. Type in “CSMonitor.com/Daily” and hit “Go”
  3. Tap on the "share button"
    • For iPhones using iOS13 or later, scroll down to "Add to Home Screen" and tap on it
    • For iPhones using iOS12 or earlier, the screen appears a little different. Scroll right until you see “add to Home Screen.”
  5. Tap "Add" in the upper right of your screen.
  6. Monitor icon now appears on your home screen (and will take you to CSMonitor.com/Daily)!

Android instructions

  1. Open your normal browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and type “csmonitor.com/daily” in the web address bar(Monitor Daily subscribers may need to log in, first, to avoid the paywall. Enter your email address just as you would on a desktop.)
  2. In the top right corner, tap the three vertical dots (aka the “more” buttons).
  3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”
  4. Name the bookmark or homescreen icon “Monitor Daily”
  5. Tap “Add”
  6. Tap “Add to Home Screen.”
  7. Monitor icon now appears on your home screen (tap and it will take you to CSMonitor.com/Daily)!
