CORRECTIONS

In yesterday's story about a South African arms deal (page 6), the Inkatha Freedom Party was misidentified. It is in a coalition with the ruling African National Congress.

A Nov. 22 story (page 6) on tainted feed fueling French factories should have said that burning organic material emits no "extra" greenhouse gases.

In a Nov. 1 story (page 1) on the new Intifadah, the number of Israeli soldiers killed during the first month was incorrect. There were no Israeli soldiers killed during the first month.
