Lights, camera, Christmas

No longer do you need to hop in the car and drive all over town if you want to see homes elaborately decorated for the holidays. Now you can view them on the Internet any time of day or night.

One site, ( HolidayLights), has gathered color photos of light displays from around the US. Check out the brilliantly illuminated Newton County, Texas, Courthouse and a giant light tree in Honolulu, as well as dozens of private homes.

The site also offers bits of history and trivia about holiday lights, tips for decorating safely, and suggestions from experts about how to take good photos of Christmas light displays.
