Return to the Summer Beach

The sun had just risen in the summer day there was no wind. Even the fishermen had gone. After the high tide and the ebbing only the signatures of seagulls showed A delicate tracing of seaweed outlined the marks of the highest waves But I was not alone Memories of the changing and unchanging beach lingered and the people I had known.
