TWO FILM SERIES MAKE THE US ROUNDS

"Women Make Movies at 20," the Women Make Movies anniversary program, had its first engagement in Los Angeles earlier this year and then played in Minneapolis, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Cambridge, Mass.

After its New York run at La Cinematographe (which ended May 14), the show is due at Filmmakers in Chicago; the Neptune Theater in Seattle; the Sheldon Film Theater in Lincoln, Neb.; the Cinematheque in Cleveland; the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas; and Webster College in St. Louis, among other locations.

The Human Rights Watch Film Festival is due in June at the UCLA Film Archive and at the American Cinematheque, both in Los Angeles; and in September at the Boston Film Festival.

It will also have engagements at the Walker Arts Center, Minneapolis, in October; and the Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley, Calif., in November. Theaters in the Loews chain will show it in Chicago, Cincinnati, Houston, and Baltimore during the autumn and winter seasons.

The festival was programmed by Bruni Burres.
